A Pre-Pandemic Street Scene

I normally share photos on flickr and Twitter, and normally, this works. Twitter has recently become reluctant to show flickr images though. So I will try and see what happens if the image is embedded in a blog post first:

Which  is why I leave this street scene from Chester here. I took this about two years ago on an old Graflex on 4×5 Portra. Unfortunately, the shot had to be framed to keep some unsightly construction works out of the frame.

Some thoughts on Tetenal’s Crisis and their C-41 Kit

Today, I noticed a number of tweets under the #SaveTetenal hashtag, which was new to me. The linked article contains a video in which the narrator states that Tetenal had declared bancruptcy. That’s not quite accurate. The term bankcruptcy suggests that the firm has collapsed. I am no accountant, but from what I hear, Tetenal has gone into administration in October 2018 with a view to keeping the company commercially viable.
